ABOUT

Learn. Get Engaged. Celebrate Oakland.

The Youth Community Protection Summit is a space for Oakland youth to learn how environmental issues—like air quality, illegal dumping, and neighborhood safety—affect the city we call home, and how young people can be part of protecting it.

This summit introduces community science in a way that’s practical, accessible, and relevant showing how everyday residents, including youth, can use tools, data, and teamwork to support a cleaner, healthier Oakland
